Overview
The Dooars or Duars are the alluvial floodplains in northeastern India that lie south of the outer foothills of the Himalayas and north of the Brahmaputra River basin. This region is about 30 km wide and stretches over about 350 km from the Teesta River in West Bengal to the Dhanshiri River in Assam.
Itinerary
Day 1: Upon Arrival At The New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/NJP Station/ Bagdogra Airport
Transfer to resort at Lataguri. The Resort in the Garumara National Park to give you a feeling of being either in the forest or in a tea garden. After lunch, we take you to have a feel of the Forest. Depending upon the availability of tickets/entry passes, we would take you for Gorumara Jungle Safari.
Day 2: After Breakfast full day sightseeing
we would take you for a full day tour of Murti, Bindu, Jhalong, Rocky Island, Suntelakhola, Laliguras region.
Day 3: South Khairbari or Phuentsholing tour
Checkout from resort, we would take you for a tour of South Khairbari or Phuentsholing.
Day 4: Elephant ride to Jaldapara Wild Life Sanctuary
we would take you for an Elephant ride to Jaldapara Wild Life Sanctuary and at the end night stay at Jaldapara.
Day 5: Departure At (IXB) Airport (NJP) Railway Station
At appropriate time we drop you to the (IXB) Airport/New jalpaiguri station. Tour ends with sweet memories at Dooars.
